Today, I am going to tell you about good Bollywood movies that are available for free on YouTube and also fun to watch.
These movies are some of the most celebrated movies of Bollywood and every single Bollywood fan knows about all these movies.
So, let’s start the list with all the free movies I found on YouTube (you can watch the movie directly by clicking on it's name):
1. Gangs of Wasseypur 1 & Gangs of Wasseypur 2 (IMDB Rating: 8.2)
This movie series needs no introduction and is one of the critically acclaimed Bollywood films. The movie revolves around crime and gang-war in Dhanbad and Jharkhand with story spanning from 1940s to 1990s. It is a must watch movie for movie-goers, if you have a home theater then, watching it using the same would give you a great experience. This is truly a gem that is available on YouTube for free. Did you notice that I didn’t post two IMDB Ratings for two parts? If yes, then, scroll at the bottom of this article to know why.
2. Ghatak (IMDB Rating: 7.4)
This is one of the classic Sunny Deol where he wreaks havoc on his enemies just the way Rambo did, but without guns. This movie will show you the glimpse of Sunny Deol copied by comedians. You will enjoy this film with family any day, do give it a watch.
3. Damini (IMDB Rating: 7.8)
This is another action movie by Sunny Deol. This is the famous movie where Sunny Deol delivered one of the most iconic dialogue in the Hindi cinema history, which is “Yeh dhaai kilo ka hath jab kisi pe padta hai na! Tab aadmi uthta nahi, uth jata hai!”. Apart from this dialogue, the movie is a good drama and has various iconic scenes including another famous dialogue “taareekh pe taareekh” by Sunny Deol.
4. Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri (IMDB Rating: 8.2 & 6.7)
This movie series is one of the funniest Bollywood movie series ever made. You can find countless memes on the internet based dialogues of these movies. This only shows how famous and good these movies are. It is a must-watch comedy movie that you can watch for free on YouTube.
5. Dhamaal (IMDB Rating: 7.3)
Another gem of Comedy genre in Bollywood is this movie. Though some of the movie scenes are copied, for instance, the toilet scene was copied from Mr Bean, but the whole movie in its entirety is really funny. The movie doesn’t give you a second to get bored and keeps you entertained from beginning to the end. A must watch movie that can be seen with family.
6. Malamaal Weekly (IMDB Rating: 6.9)
By now, you must have understood the fact that YouTube mostly contains classic action and comedy movies. This movie is another comedy movie that shows a story of a village where a drunkard guy wins a lottery and dies, and later on, some of the villagers try to claim the lottery prize. This movie has the simplest of the concept with the funniest of scenes. It is easily one of the best comedy movies of the last decade.
7. Andaz Apna Apna (IMDB Rating: 8.2)
This movie is one of the best comedy movies of all time. I haven’t seen this movie till now but it is on my must-watch list. The movie is iconic and so are some of it’s characters, such as, Teja and Crime Master Gogo to name a few. I will surely watch this movie after completing this article and you should too.
8. Hungama (IMDB Rating: 7.5)
Call this a conspiracy theory but, whenever Paresh Rawal changes his looks, the movie becomes a hit, be it Hera Pheri, Malamaal Weekly or this movie. This movie is a laugh riot and involves around multiple stories that connect at the end and create a situation funny enough to give us a good laugh.
9. Welcome (IMDB Rating: 6.8)
Another meme gem in the list, you can watch this movie on YouTube and enjoy every funny scene in the movie. The movie has hundreds of funny scenes that will surely tickle your funny bones. With stars like Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar in funniest roles and awesome dialogue-writing, it is a must watch.
10. Vaastav (IMDB Rating: 8.0)
11. Sarkar (IMDB Rating: 7.6)
This movie is a political criminal thriller that showcases the life of a powerful gangster who is arrested for the murder of a politician. The movie is one of the best work of Ram Gopal Verma and shows some stellar performances by Bachchan Father-son duo. Do watch this movie for great performances and direction.
12. Golmaal: Fun Unlimited (IMDB Rating: 7.6)
As stated above, the number of good comedy movies available on YouTube is huge. The movie is one of the best work of Rohit Shetty. This movie is a multi-starrer one and the one that brought out Ajay Devgn's as a comic actor. This movie also made Tushar Kapoor famous for his mute character in the movie. This movie can be better enjoyed with friends.
So, this was the list of all the movies that are available for free on YouTube. Though there are many Bollywood movies available for free on YouTube but they are mostly pirated and unofficial, the movies I have mentioned above are uploaded by official channels and are absolutely legal.
Also, the reason why I didn't post two IMDB ratings for Gangs of Wasseypur 1 and 2 was that it was a single movie altogether that was released in two parts. The movie was orginally shot as a single film, but the length of the movie spanned up to 319 minutes which could not be played at any movie theater. Hence, it was released in two parts.
